Our Story (continued)

Our Story

Sustainability

Three natural compounds form the foundation of umami. Each brings its own character. Together, they create something deeper than the sum of their parts.

The building blocks

Taste deeper.

Dashi is the purest expression of umami synergy—where kombu (glutamate) meets bonito (inosinate). It's the soul of Japanese cooking, and the quiet reason so many simple dishes taste extraordinary.

Depth begins with dashi

Better together.

When these compounds come together, they create synergy—unlocking deeper layers of flavor and savoriness than any one alone.
